EXPERIENCE THE FREEDOM!

Stretching the Envelope!

Sleek, Spacious and Quick, the Aerocat Amphibian also offers the most versatile airframe on the market today. The Multi-Platform concept is designed to house a single or twin configuration, and a purchase option which may or may not include floats. All Aerocats come off the production line with a "Floats-Capable" Airframe.

The idea for a versatile amphibian was hatched right here in Haliburton by co-designers Y.C. Cheng and Kirk Creelman. The challenge? Build a versatile platform that pounded the envelope of traditional Amphibian Design. The Result? The Aerocat Amphibian - an aircraft that soars above the competition... stretching the boundaries of your imagination.

Outside the Box

Single or Twin Engine Models
The Engineers at Creative Flight stepped out of cookie-cutter mindset when they devised an airframe that could accommodate a choice of twin or single powerplant options. The innovative Power Arch configuration, in concert with pusher-type propulsion is the foundation of the Aerocat's versatility. The Arch allows for a single 210 to 300 HP engine mounted in the middle of the arch or the twin 135 Jabiru Option mounted on each side of the arch.

The pusher type propulsion mounted high on the arch also serves to keep the props high and dry for on-water applications. Keeping the engines up and away from the cabin also lends incredible visibility for pilot and passengers alike. In the case of the twin, recovery from an engine outage is remarkably manageable due to the asymetric location of the twin powerplants.

Land or Sea... A Bird for All Seasons
The Aerocat Amphibian is a versatile vehicle equally at home on land and on sea. There are very few Amphibians on the market today that can compete with the Aerocat TRX or SRX for sheer performance, safety and style.

Conversion of this remarkable amphib can be accomplished by a single pilot in the space of 20-40 minutes!. No shop time is required to transform the Aerocat into non-float mode and the subsequent increase in speed and range performance is in a word... HUGE. For more information on float conversion please click on Aircraft and then navigate to "Performance Floats".
